I asked the Lord to break me and he did. Now I’m asking him to repair me, and to change me into the young woman he intended me to be. I have complete faith in him, but me on the other hand…. not so much.

“It is still idolatry to want God for his benefits but not for Himself.”

“This is what the LORD says—your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the LORD your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go. If only you had paid attention to my commands, your peace would have been like a river, your righteousness like the waves of the sea.”
Isaiah 48:17-18

I will never be truly happy until I have Jesus.

Hi everyone.
This is my friend Caitlin and her son Bryson.
She is currently going through a really tough time. She got pregnant when she was a junior in High school, and had B during her senior year. The father was no where to be seen or heard from as soon as he found out she was pregnant - and she then was in a relationship with another guy for a little while, only to soon break up with him too.
Earlier this year, she and Brysons father reconnected and decided to get married and try to have a family. A few weeks ago they got separated because the father didn’t want to take on the responsibilities that, that title entails. Instead of supporting his family, he wanted to party. So now, she is a single mother with a beautiful baby boy trying to deal with yet another heartbreak from the man she fell in love with in high school.
Caitlin’s spirit is weakening and her soul is becoming weary. Please keep this young woman and her baby in your thoughts and prayers. Pray that God give her the strength to get through this on her own.
Thanks, all :)

God knows what’s up and it doesn’t matter if I don’t get it

“Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will not be shaken. My victory and honor come from God alone. He is my refuge, a rock where no enemy can reach me. O my people, trust in him at all times. Pour out your heart to him, for God is our refuge.”
Psalm 62:5-8
